We were recently called to a property in Billericay, Essex, the residents were experiencing foul smells after flushing and the toilets were very slowly draining away.
On Arrival the team lifted the external manholes for inspection and found one full of raw sewage and the other was empty. This made it easier to locate the issue, once clear we used a CCTV drain camera to identify an accumulation of heavy scale was the cause of the blockage.
Descaling the line will help to prevent any future issues.
