We were booked to carry out significant drainage repairs at a school in central London, scheduled to commence at the beginning of the summer break. The Kitchen’s drainage was experiencing severe issues and upon inspection, it became clear that the existing drain line had melted due to the scalding waste water from the Bain Marie’s.
This complex excavation took place in the school’s basement. The process involved removing the concrete flooring, replacing the faulty drainage with new PVC pipes, which we reinforced with structural drain lining to enhance the durability against the hot water waste. We then proceeded to backfill, concreting, and restoring the area to its original condition.
